About
Neuro Nexus was born from a desire to create a practice that reflects both clinical excellence and human connection. After years of working in outpatient, forensic, and educational settings, I saw the need for a space where neurodivergent individuals, overwhelmed parents, and those navigating emotional stressors could receive care that was both scientifically grounded and emotionally attuned.
As a mother and neuropsychologist, my clinical work is informed by both professional expertise and personal insight. I understand the challenges of navigating differences in attention, emotional regulation, and cognitive processing—not just academically, but experientially.
These perspectives shape how I support clients: with grounded empathy, practical tools, and a commitment to evidence-based care. Neuro Nexus was created to meet that need—a space where individuals feel understood, supported, and equipped to grow.
What Makes Neuro Nexus Different
Whole-Person Care: We integrate emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and relational factors into every clinical interaction—whether in therapy, assessment, consultation, or education.
Parent-Centered Support: Our work is deeply informed by the parent-child relationship. As a mother and child evaluator and therapist, Dr. Harvey brings lived experience and clinical expertise to parent coaching, behavioral consultation, and family therapy.
Neurodivergent-Affirming: We don’t pathologize difference. We help clients understand their brain’s unique wiring and build strategies that work for them.
Practical & Empowering: Clients leave sessions with psychoeducation, reflective prompts, and tools they can use in daily life.
Holistic & Grounded: We value movement, mindfulness, and meaning-making—inside and outside the therapy space.
Support for Professionals: We work with professionals, creatives, athletes, and students navigating burnout, executive functioning challenges, and identity shifts.

The Heart Behind Neuro Nexus
My clinical approach is shaped by both professional training and personal insight. I understand the challenges of navigating differences in cognitive and emotional processing—not just from textbooks, but from lived experience.
These insights deepen my empathy and inform the strategies I share with clients. I practice what I teach: restructuring thought patterns, building adaptive habits, and cultivating self-awareness—grounded in the transformative power of evidence-based support.
This dual lens—professional and personal—allows me to meet clients with steady presence and thoughtful guidance. I know what it’s like to feel misunderstood or out of sync with your environment. That’s why Neuro Nexus offers care that honors complexity, encourages resilience, and fosters lasting change.
“The goal of therapy is not to fix you—it’s to help you understand yourself, trust your process, and move forward with intention.”
Grounded in Life
Dr. Harvey values movement, music, and mindfulness. She enjoys healthy eating, walking, dancing, and weight lifiting as part of a holistic approach to wellness. She finds meaning in music and uses it as a tool for reflection and emotional processing. Dr. Harvey belongs to the heavy metal music community, which reflects her values of resilience, advocacy, and determination. She also practices mindfulness through walking, sensory observation, and using metaphors to support insight and healing.
These practices help her stay grounded and present—qualities she brings into her work with clients.
